ADA - American with Disabilities

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and requires institutions to provide reasonable accommodations for disabled persons to ensure equal access to government resources.

The Ingham County Circuit Courts seeks to ensure equal and full access to the judicial system for all individuals by providing reasonable accommodations and services upon request.  For information regarding the Ingham County Circuit Court’s ADA policy and procedures, requirements for making requests for reasonable accommodations, and more, please read the American with Disabilities Act Policy and Grievance Procedure.

If you wish to make a request, please use the following Request for Reasonable Accommodations and Response form (SCAO-approved form MC70), which is available in the Ingham County Circuit Court Office or on the SCAO website at: https://courts.michigan.gov/Administration/SCAO/Forms/courtforms/mc70.pdf.
